6Kai
The granddaughter of one ofthe bestNew Girlcharacters , Tran , Kai meets and starts to date Nick in season 4 . Kai ’s warmth for doing nothing makes Nick worry that she is dating him for his — admittedly little — money , but it ’s soon give away that Kai is very successful , and she even pay Nick to not go to work at the bar and hang out with her instead .
When Nick has a variety of heart and becomes serious about his career , Kai cuts thing off because she like doing nothing with him . This is for the best , as Kai paying Nick sets up a very unhealthful relationship moral force , even though it was played for laughs .
5Amanda
Amanda is a char Nick work with at the bar in time of year 1 . Although he has a difficult clock time determining when she ’s being serious and when she ’s kidding , he decide to ask her out . However , when Jess walks in on Nick dance in his bedroom naked to some neat music before his date , he becomes unsafe about any other woman look him in the same state .
4Angie
In time of year 2 , Nick come across a woman in the measure who is upset over having just intermit up with her boyfriend . They hit it off and begin dating , but when he learns of her occupation as an exotic dancer and her wild tendencies , he becomes uncomfortable .
Though Nick settle to take a chance on Angie in one ofNew Girl’sholiday episode , “ Santa ” ( S2E11 ) , Angie removes herself from the human relationship in “ Cabin ” ( S2E12 ) presently after flirting with Jess ’ young man , Sam . Appearing in season 1 , Julia is a mortal who is far more serious about biography than Nick . She is a lawyer who has been through therapy for her ire management issues , and she is basically Jess ’ complete opposite . In fact , it terrifies Jess when she learns that Julia is “ not a afters person . ”

Of course , Nick Miller ’s expert girlfriend is Jessica Day . Though their kinship went through many ups and downs , Nick and Jess were always destined to be with each other , which made the pair ’s wedding ceremony in time of year 7 very hearty to watch .
Nick and Jess tend to fight back a lot , and they are very unlike multitude , but at the end of the day they ’re best Friend , and putting that friendly relationship first has always kept them afloat . They appreciate one another for who they are , not who they could be , and bear each other in dreams both big and small .
