Ink Master

There have certainly been a stack of great tattoo artists that have showcased their talents onInk Masterover the years . That ’s the uncollectible part about contest ; sometimes , the best may not be " the best " in a field made up of the top tattoo artists in the nation . As with all realness rivalry , there are some artists who felt as if they deserve to win , only to narrowly lose out to an artist who was slightly better .

Looking back on all the years ofInk Master , there are decidedly some artists who were the safe at their foxiness but could lend home the championship of being the ultimate Ink Master .

Eric Siuda (Season 5)

Although Jason Clay Dunn won all the marbles in season 5 , there were those who sense thatEric Siuda should have been the genuine Ink Masterof the season , not Dunn .

Siuda and his team were more ordered and well - rounded throughout the season , which made Dunn ’s ultimate triumph prick a little for some watcher .

Walter “Sausage” Frank (Season 4)

Mention the name Walter " Sausage " Frank to anInk Masterfan , and there ’s a strong possibility that they ’ll say that he should have been the ultimate Ink Master of season 4 , not Scott Marshall .

grant , Marshall was an awe-inspiring tattoo creative person who was consistent throughout the time of year , but Frank get ahead Tattoo of the Day 4 time , with his tattoos being both brawny and judgement - boggling . All the ingredient were in billet for Frank to win it all , which made his loss to Marshall a knotty one for some fan to bear .

Chris Blinston (Season 6)

If there was ever a controversy surrounding who should have been the Ink Master , it come in time of year 6 when talented tattoo artist Chris Blinston took home second station .

The release was controversial because Blinston ’s canvass was consistently great throughout the time of year , and , much like Walter " Sausage " Frank in the 4th time of year , Blinston had everything needed to take home the profits but just could n’t shut down it .

Tiffer Wright (Season 11)

Bring up season 11 ofInk Master , and many will assert that Tiffer Wright should have been the winner of the season . Tony Medellin was great , and his tattoos were merely out - of - this - worldly concern , but the shibboleth of thecompetition is the sound tattoo artist should come through .

Wright had a stunning season all around , so his loss seem only unfair to many fans of the show .

Kelly Doty (Season 8)

Season 8 was a particularly memorable chapter ofInkMasterasit was the time of year that really glitter a spotlight on the natural endowment of the female creative person , with three distaff tattoo artists making it to the top three .

While anyone of the three could have pull ahead , Kelly Doty ’s work stands out in particular with the benefit of hindsight . It ’s a ignominy that she did n’t take home the title of Ink Master for time of year 8 , but the contention was very particularly tough that year .

James “Cleen Rock One” Steinke (Season 5)

Overall , some fans retrieve that the artists of time of year 5 were relatively sapless compared to other season , but that did n’t mean that the time of year was completely devoid of gift .

James"Cleen Rock One " Steinkeof Las Vegas was a great tattoo artist throughout the season , and he definitely deserved his spot in the top two . Much like Erik Sidua , Steinke was more uniform than the victor of the time of year , Jason Clay Dunn .

Juan Salgado (Season 10)

While time of year 10 may have been the " Season of the Josh " , he certainly was n’t the only gifted artist to come out of this season . Juan Salgado carried the banner for Puerto Rico during time of year 10 and did so proudly .

His body of work was prominent , and , if it was n’t for some Josh - centric storyline that reasonably drowned out the rest of the gift , Salgado would get off as the only clean winner .

Christian Buckingham (Season 7)

Anthony Michaels was the winner of season 7 , but maybe it should have go to Christian Buckingham of Henderson , Nevada , whose oeuvre wasbrilliant , skilled , and consistentthroughout .

It may not really count who came by as the Ink Master of time of year 7 , as it was more of a " throwback " season than anything else , but Buckingham ’s endowment came off as being unfairly leave out nonetheless .

Matti Hixson (Season 4)

Season 4 ofInk Masterwill go down as one of the best of the serial for the astonishing amount of talent that was displayed throughout . Even the artists who did n’t finish in the top five had the talent to go all the way , but Matti Hixson was decidedly a favorite .

He had outstanding tattoo throughout the time of year and was consistently thinker - blowing . This is one of the few times when it can be said unreservedly that the reasonableness that a buff favorite did n’t come through was that the competition was just so fierce .

Jime Litwalk (Season 3)

time of year 3 ofInk Masterdebuted when the show had just set out to gain a huge following thanks to the awing natural endowment displayed in premature seasons . While Joey Hamilton rightfully come through the time of year and should be look at one of the most talented artists in the show ’s history , Jime Litwalk of Orlando , Florida should n’t be forgotten either .

His piece of work was powerful , and it could well be fence that if Joey was n’t part of the time of year , Litwalk could have well walked away as the Ink Master .
