Even the booster , Rue , has done some seemingly unforgivable thing during her incumbency on the show . It helps that the Euphoria principal characters are a varied bunch so you get a range of those who are almost always good and some who are truly terrible in every imaginable path . These are the kind of thing that make the show such an challenging watch on a hebdomadary basis .
Cal Jacobs
The Jacobs household are the main antagonists of the series for a reason . When viewers first find out Cal , he was having sex with the underage Jules and memorialise it . That ’s enough to make him the most unsympathetic person on the show but Cal takes thing to the next grade .
He is also the soul who has helped make his son as dire as he is . Cal ’s intimate exploits were found out by Nate and twist him into an angry individual . Cal also does n’t seem to care much for his wife and he does n’t like one of his sons , while he also handle the other poorly . Even when theshow tried to give him a dear backstory , it was n’t enough to turn fans around .
Nate Jacobs
In the first instalment , Nate has exculpated problems with Maddy and push around Jules at a party . thing get taken up to the next level in the following instalment , " Stuntin ' Like My pa . " That ’s when he beats Tyler to a mush and threatens to have him arrested just because of what Maddy say him . Nate only becomes more unlikable as audience watch him mudcat andblackmail Jules in the come episodes .
He also whole ruin Tyler ’s spirit , framing him for snipe Maddy when it was Nate who actually choked her . Nate treats everyone like they ’re beneath him and shows no remorse , getting aside with it all . Even when he does something good , like give Jules the video of her and his founding father , he goes to awful lengths to get there , indicate a gunman at Maddy ’s drumhead and threatening her .
Elliot
The young addition to the cast is Elliot , a student who Rue befriends at the New Year ’s Eve party in the season 2 premiere . He ’s doing drugs and she immediately bonded with him over that , continue to do drug afterward for a while . Elliot and Rue even admitted that they brought out the worst in each other .
He seemed to turn a quoin with how he put down the drug and revealed to Jules that Rue was still using . However , he seemingly regretted the determination as he liked Rue how she was , even if it was vote down her . He also seemed to enjoy being in the middle of therelationship dramatic play between Rue and Julesa trivial too much .
Cassie Howard
The tale of Cassie Howard is a sad one . The tragedy of her founding father is one matter but she also clamber with her reputation . " The Trials and Tribulations of Trying to Pee While Depressed " lay out why she acts the manner she does in her relationships . Just because she ’s done some sexual things in her past , that ’s all people see .
Alas , season 2 has done a 180 on her fictitious character . Cassie went from a fresh miss to someone who has become obsessive in the worst path . She believes she ’s in sexual love with Nate , which has caused her to lash out at her friend and menage member . Cassie also gave up Fezco to Cal and shop Maddy by hooking up with Nate and never stepping up to face the aftermath or be honest .
Chris McKay
Chris McKay seems like he has a good heart . He has literal intuitive feeling for Cassie but is easy persuade and worries too much about what other citizenry think . He has been shown to go out of his way to demean Cassie or slut - shame her for her attire and past just because Nate and others have articulate things to him .
McKay also did n’t have the good answer to Cassie ’s pregnancy . He ’d be much happy and more likable if he worried more about himself and less about what his father and friends say . He has n’t been around enough in time of year 2 for anything to have really switch about him .
Kat Hernandez
When the series begins , it ’s clear that Kat is try her good to fit in . She require to be as coolheaded and sexually experience as her friend like Maddy . That sends her down the path to start experimenting and it actually leave to emergence as a somebody . Kat changes up her looking , begins to ooze out confidence , and have who she is .

Rue Bennett

That being said , it ’s difficult to fully view her as the most likable somebody on the show . While she ’s likable , there are some issues .
Fans root for her to get what she trust and become a glad person . She makes it difficult though and even take that she would be a dissimilar person if she could be . time of year 2 showed the bad of Rue , as her dependance led her to berate Jules , Ali , and her family members . Rue is certainly the show ’s dear character but that does n’t always mean she ’s someone to love .
Gia Bennett
thing are heavy for miserable Gia Bennett . As Rue ’s young baby , she gets a first manus looking at at what addiction has done to her and it ’s beat . Gia seems to take the total thing harder than anyone , showing a lot of emotions whenever Rue has one of her episodes .
Gia search to dabble in some underage drugs in season 1 but it seems like Rue ’s experiences have changed her . Season 2 has n’t seen her trying anything like that as she mostly share with the turmoil at menage . There ’s really nothing to dislike about Gia though she is n’t as large as other characters .
Ashtray
Ashtray is one of the characters who was bump up to the principal stamp in season 2 and has only come more likeable . While it ’s true that he did kill Mouse in inhuman bloodline , Ash did it to protect Fezco . That ’s what Ash is all about actually , as loyalty is his biggest trait .
lover appreciate someone who is loyal and Ashtray would vote down for Fezco . While he ’s not the most outstanding character on the show , whenever he ’s around he has been one of the highlighting .
Maddy Perez
Like Cassie , Maddy has done a change of mind in time of year 2 but in the opposite direction . Season 1 demonstrate that she want to do nothing with her life and that she was happy to be with Nate , no matter how badly he treated her because she can do nothing while he provides and buys her natural endowment . Her high-risk traits came out with him due to their horrifically toxic relationship .
amazingly , time of year 2 has seen her grow as a person . Maddy got a occupation to do something for herself and bonded with the kid she babysat for . She also seemed to press Nate aside , though it was difficult . Maddy show more emotion this season , explaining how betrayed she feel by Cassie in a heartrending scene . To top it off , she was also a proficient Quaker to Kat and acted as a prominent babe to Lexi .
