Netflix ’s Original SeriesElitewas wide successful , due in large part to the dynamic cast of characters . Many of the characters were well - developed , like Lu , becoming more nuanced throughout the series . Though many of thecharacters made misfortunate decision , it was easy to root for many of these problematical characters .
But not every eccentric onElitewas loved by fan . While some character made fan fuck to hate them , others made fans more infuriated than excited . Whether it be because they were rightfully awful , poorly develop , or entirely useless , some characters did n’t go up to their beloved counterparts .

Main fiber since the beginning like Lu and Carla were no longer part of the series , plant characters like Rebeka and Cayetana got some much - require development , and many raw eccentric get together the show . regrettably , with the elision of one individual , the new characters were highly unlikable , with many of them lack the compelling nature of Elite ’s original mold of graphic symbol . While some of the new characters are intend to be unlikable , some of them are also think of to arouse empathy and portray a form of complexness that fails to resonate with the audience by the last of season 4 .
Best: Mencía
Mencía is the only likeable extremity of her family and the only likeable Modern character in season 4 . Her family does not respect her and forever deal her like an pariah and a burden , which move her to be rebellious and reckless .
Outside of her family , Mencía builds meaningful relationships with eccentric like Rebeka , through which Mencía show a odoriferous , compassionate , sensitive , and intellectual side of her that her family does not recognize or appreciate . Not only is Mencía mistreated by her class , but she is also threaten , blackmailed , and snipe by the horrible Armando . Mencía is a misunderstood and abuse case who deserves better .
Worst: Patrick
Patrick ’s main purpose is to sow discord in Ander and Omar ’s relationship and tug a wedge between them . He is felicitous to try and put down one ofthe show ’s best couples . During this , Patrick sexually snipe both Ander and Omar , which makes him an unredeemable character .
Other than being a selfish quality who has no moral bound and will go to any lengths to get what he wants , Patrick has no personality . When the show tries to show that he is vulnerable and pay off for unresolved outcome , devotee ca n’t sense any empathy for him due to his reprehensible nature .
Best: Rebeka
Rebeka is one ofElite ’s most compassionate , fledged , truehearted , and sensitive characters . She authentically care about the mass she is in relationship with and will do anything to protect or help them . She sticks by her female parent , Samuel , and Mencia as they sputter with issues like prison , accusations of slaying , and blackmail , even as others move around their backs on these characters .
Rebeka does not suffer chump , though , and will not remain in a toxic relationship and when her loved ones actively choose to cozen and hurt her . When she discover that her female parent lied to her about no longer dealing drugs and Samuel lie to her about found a recording twist inside of her household for the cops , she ends her romantic relationship with Samuel and gets away from her mother . Rebeka know how to stand up for herself and is the only one who experience Mencia for who she is and who unconditionally loves and helps her .
Worst: Ari
While her comrade Patrick exists to sow discordance between Ander and Omar , Ari exists to create drama in Samuel and Guzmán ’s friendship . After three seasons of Samuel and Guzmán overcoming their many differences and becoming friends , Ari quickly ruins this ontogenesis and piss them hate each other again . Ari is far more selfish and unlikable than the characters Samuel and Guzmán dated in the past tense , which makes it all the stranger to see them throwing everything away to come through her warmness and be with her .
Ari ’s harsh and disapproving discourse of her sister Mencía and how Ari manipulates her Fatherhood ’s favoritism does n’t do her any favors either . The show tries to get the interview to understand with Ari by prove that she feels like she sacrifice her own desires to be the arrant and obedient child who keep her family together . The many advantages Ari receive from this office and her self-important , unapologetic nature makes it grueling to feel bad for her , though .
Worst: Teo
To be fair , no one is supposed to care Teo . He is one of the main antagonist of the show , serve well as a formidable baddie through all three seasons ofElite . Still , the hatred of this character runs cryptical . He paralyzes Christian which results in his going from the show , upsetting many fans .
lover felt bad for Carlawhen Teo thrust her into a relationship with Yeray , effectively pander out his daughter for his own welfare . This was one of the most hat plot lines of the show and fans attributed some of the disappointment about that plotline to Teo .
Best: Omar
Omar is a delightful lineament . He is thoughtful , conflicted , passionate , kindhearted , and reliable . Omar ’s storyline mainly roll around his struggle with his identity element .
As a youthful Muslim homo man , he struggles to poise his personal values with the expectations of his family . ascertain Omar blossom and come out of his shell is a delectation for fans , who were rooting for him to break complimentary .
Worst: Cayetana
Cayetana ’s character had potential , but she fell savorless . While many unsympathetic persona had some redeeming timber , Cayetana had difficulty earning empathy from rooter . Cayetana ’s poor decisions and actions are to find fault for most of her struggles , and yet this role decline to recognise the role she has played in her own destruction .
Cayetana is unbelievably selfish and seldom shows remorse . She treat her mother terribly and her kinship with some of the other characters , namely her relationship with Polo , feel fake and forced . For these reasons and many more , Cayetana was not enjoy by fans .
Best: Nadia
Nadia is incredibly intelligent . At the beginning of the series , she also happens to be super sheltered and naive . Still , Nadia has a strong signified of self and several effect values . Though she grows and adapts throughout the series , she always remain honest to herself .
Nadia protect those that she worry about while also moderate them accountable . Though she may initially be judgemental , Nadia is a great auditor . With sentence , she often reflects and begins to understand the perspective of her compeer . Her willingness to speak up when necessary and her power to alter made Nadia a fan - favorite role .
Worst: Samuel
Samuel is the main quality ofEliteand the first character fans meet . While fans were initially draw toSamuel and felt risky for him , they quickly grow pestered with his character .
Samuel ’s development was inconsistent . His motivations shift speedily without reason , seemingly just to advance the story . He was also involved in several cringy panorama and many of his relationships feel ingenuine .
Best: Valerio
Valerio is a problematic pet . This character is pure chaos . He cook many rash decision that negatively impact himself and others . Still , fan ca n’t help but feel bad for him . It is clear that Valerio is extremely upset .
Fans can empathize with his feelings of isolation and ego - loathing . And though he causes a lot of pain , he also seems to appreciate and admire the uniqueness in others , gain it wanton to appreciate and admire him for his identity .
