Disney is screw for create wholesome , family content that everyone can enjoy and a big reason for that is the fact that it is often families who are the direction of the movie . Disneyhas create some amazing fictitious character , from great female parent and grandparents to fantastic fathers , reach every viewer someone to connect with .
However , while Disney and Pixar have made some brilliant male parent throughout its history , creating characters who clearly care and want to do their best for their kid , they ’re not all perfect . Much like in real living , not everyone is perfect and the balance of having those fault is what induce Disney and Pixar movies so enjoyable .

Disney’s Best Dads
Bob Parr (The Incredibles)
Bob Parr was more than a secret superhero inThe Incredibles , he was also a great dad . In the first film , he was a little checked out at the kickoff because of his own boredom with his day - to - day life without fighting crime , but when he was dialed in as a pappa , he was one of the best .

While Pinocchio ’s life does go slenderly astray due to sorry decision he makes , that does n’t stop Geppetto , who works incredibly hard to get his son back . Geppetto was naive but he was a safe dad . It should also be note that Disney is working on alive - action version ofPinocchiostarring Tom Hanksas Geppetto .
Maurice (Beauty And The Beast)
Maurice is one of the morelikable characters inBeauty and the Beast . He ’s an unbelievably kind and caring individual whose entire life is devoted to his daughter . They survive together and Maurice has to raise Belle on his own , which he does without any job or complaint , doing his in force to provide for her throughout the movie .
He encourages Belle to be different , pushing her interest group in meter reading and scholarship , even though everyone else think it is weird . Even when Belle ends up have his place in the rook with the Beast , Maurice does his best to try and not allow that to go on , always place his daughter first .
Chief Tui (Moana)
Even thoughMoana’sChief Tui does his best to stop Moana from exploring the ocean when his backstory is explained — and the fact that he lose his good friend trying to guess out — he becomes very likeable . He is adjudicate to keep Moana on land to protect her , not wanting to drop off her . Moana may see his trade protection as sheltering her but it comes from a estimable property .
The relationship he has with Moana is a really fun one as well , as he clearly tries his best to have play with her , all while teaching her moral lessons that will stand her in adept position . Tui is a unattackable man but does n’t gain how heroic Moana is until much later . He can be a fiddling abrupt at times , but he is never cruel , which piss him a cracking father .
Pongo (101 Dalmations)
Pongo was an awesome father from Disney’s101 Dalmatians , easily being one of the greatest that the spiritedness giant has ever created . Pongo is someone who has a lot of children , and he is immediately pull into a tough billet because Cruella want to kill them .
He has to do everything he can in parliamentary procedure to save them , and he absolutely does just that . Pongo choke above and beyond the call of duty , and with so many small fry , that is certainly not an light chore to dispense with . As a newfangled daddy , Pongo jumped into pappa duty when his kids require him most .
Mufasa (The Lion King)
When it come to Disney ’s fathers , they do n’t get any more iconic thanThe Lion King’sMufasa , and the reason for that is how great he is . Everything he does in the moving picture showcases him to be an amazing beginner . He like to have playfulness with Simba , bringing use while also having to be very protective of him , as any secure father should be . Mufasa is one of Disney ’s best - writtencharacters .

As much as Agnarr loved his girl Elsa , her power to freeze things with her hands made life for the family take exception . Elsa ’s superpower made herchildhood a distressing one inFrozen . And while it ’s impossible to know what was the right thing at the time , secluding her from the external world , telling her to " conceal , do n’t feel , " and keeping her from her babe were some of the lowest points of Elsa ’s life .
Kerchak (Tarzan)
Kerchak has the province of being a leader to everyone within his group inTarzan . However , he does so in a very cross and fast-growing way , which does n’t make him a great father . He sputter because he loses his biological son , but instead of embracing Tarzan as his own , he shuns him because he ’s a human . Kerchack ’s quotation about raising Tarzanwere some of the harshest inverted comma .
Tarzan is n’t a gorilla and that obviously makes thing different , but everyone else embraces him as one of their own . Yet Kerchak is n’t prepared to do that right up until the moment he dies . He and Tarzan could have had a better kinship if Kerchak put down his guard .
The Sultan (Aladdin)
At the end ofAladdin , the grand Turk spread his eyes and ears to exactly what his girl wants , but it takes her pass on a breaking gunpoint for that substance to hit home . It ’s something that he ’s clearly struggling with , but he does n’t showcase himself to be a beneficial Fatherhood , as he tries to push his own dreaming and life story upon his son with summercater , despite him not really being concerned .
On top of that , Buck Cluck does n’t believe his own son about anything , rather , showing sheer disappointment in him . While he eventually believes the things his son enounce , it admit too long for that to take place .
George Darling (Peter Pan)

He tries to pop Quasimodo when he ’s a babe , which is what leads to him have to become his father . However , he happily traps Quasimodo in the bell tug , not wanting any responsibility , hop that citizenry wo n’t learn about him , which is what makes him a tremendous Church Father .
