Nicky was a chip of a sight and not the brightest character inAnimal Kingdom , and the fact that she transition from a relationship with J to a romanticism with Craig was not a just look for her .
However , as far asAnimal Kingdomcharacters go , Nicky was objectively morally just than most of them , and it would have been interesting to see her develop even further over time . Perhaps she was lucky to at least get out alive , though .
Julia Cody
Although Julia ’s end was actually the accelerator that began the story and make J into the criminal cosmos that the rest period of his estranged family was a part of , that does n’t make her red any less substantial .
Yes , she was n’t a character in her own right within the series , butJ has become a genuinely terrifying and dark individual , and that might not have ever happened if Julia had n’t died of a drug overdose and left her Logos with nowhere else to turn .
Amy
It ’s actually pretty pitiful that Amy ’s character left the show . She was sweet , pretty , smart , and definitely good for Pope .
However , it was n’t that lurid that she never wanted to see him again after he told her he was a murderer . She go 11 episodes , disappearing forever in " Hyenas . "
Lena Blackwell
leave the entire Cody family behind is undoubtedly what ’s best for Lena , and despite her young age , the fact that she want to rest with her foster family argue that she knew it .
And although Pope was really the only Buffalo Bill that she was unaired to who in reality have intercourse her like a girl , he did the right affair and let her go for her own rice beer . That does n’t entail that their word of farewell was n’t altogether heartbreaking though .
Angela
Pope really ca n’t catch a break . Almostno one was happy when Angela walked back into the Codys ' liveliness , but she was Julia ’s best friend and thus had a pregnant connection to her twin comrade .
They seemed to be developing a pretty strong bond , and it looked like Angela was in reality try on to outride on the straight and narrow . So when Pope get word that Angela ’s sudden fade was because she had been murdered , it was a real shock absorber .
Catherine Blackwell
Cath ’s last was one of the saddest in the serial . Sure , she was n’t the most interesting character , but really her only mistake was crossing Smurf .
However , it was super cheerless sleep together that Lena ’s mom was gone , and it was even sadder that Pope , who always loved her , was the one to do it . Smurf likes to present herself as a charwoman who cares for family over everything , but the fact that she had zero qualms about toss of Cath and that she was willing to traumatize her son by manipulating him into pour down her was brutal .
