Scrubs

It may have been a ten sinceScrubs ' 8th season went off the air , which many consider to be the end of the show due to thebizarre ninth season , but the show is still loved by fans all around the world .

Although while it may have been pick up as a drollery throughout most of its run , we ’d be doing a monolithic disservice to the show ’s creators if we did n’t acknowledge some of the emotional moments that made the series what it was , specifically the deaths that reduced fans to tears .

Updated March 6th by Rhys McGinley : As well as being one of the best and perhaps most underrated individual - camera funniness shows of the 21st century , Scrubsis known to be the most medically accurate television show out there . A lot of this is due to the real - life inspiration for the show and the penning team who truly capture what hospitals and physician ’s lives are like and the affected role and their aesculapian conditions . People in Scrubs catch realistic diseases , have naturalistic problem , and ultimately can have naturalistic , if not heartbreaking , decease across the nine seasons of the show , with there being far more than ten that affected fans for one grounds or another .

Enid

In the last couple of seasons ofScrubs , Dr. Kelso went from the stereotypical , oftentimes one - dimensional nefarious knob of the infirmary -   despite   some deeper bit and being hilarious - to a mostly likeable , suspicious friend of the eternal rest of the characters .

In the dreaded ninth season of the show , Kelso go back to work after announce Enid ’s passing . Fans never forgather Enid , but it was decipherable that despite the way he treated her a lot of the time , Kelso did love his wife . He does ruin this moment by becoming a creepy womaniser mere day after her expiry , putting this at the bottom of the sadness ranking .

David Morrison & Mrs. Guerrero

One of the hardest - attain episodes too soon on inScrubsis " My Old Lady , " an episode that shows the rightful nature of what a hospital can be like despite everyone ’s best effort .

It revolves around J.D.,Turk , and Elliothaving three disjoined patient , with the idea that one in three patient role die in infirmary , induce fans expect one of   their deaths . In what is a bit of a shock at the end of the instalment , all three of the patient die , through no fracture of their doctor . One is a bit more affecting than the others , but the deaths of Turk ’s patient David and Elliot ’s Mrs. Guerrero strike hard , especially this early in the show .

Peter

Peter is a unknown one as he is not inevitably the chief nidus , and fans never actually see him die like many others . Yet , the episode " My Super Ego " is still pretty heartbreaking due to his death .

The installment prove apparent super - intern Nick Murdoch eventually crumbling over the pressure of being a physician as he is unable to do anything to spare a shaver ’s liveliness , and relinquish Sacred Heart . It was made exonerated Peter was going to die , and seeing how that can strike doctors , even the I who appear the strongest , was a harrowing sight .

Mr. Morrison

As mentioned earlier , Dr. Kelso undergoesa bit of a metamorphosisnear the last of the show , but before that was a uproarious but objectively unsympathetic individual . However , there were glimpses of his humanity that made fans sense for him .

In one episode , Kelso decides to chance Dr. Cox ’s patient , Mr. Morrison , off of a drug trial that would likely keep his life to make room for a likely donor to the hospital . Mr. Morrison died , and the fertile patient donate enough money to reopen a wing of the hospital . At the end of the installment , we see how Kelso actually was affect by Mr. Morrison ’s last and did struggle with the free weight of his job , hazard to be dead happy when other doctor walk by . This death is more heartrending from a Dr. Kelso fiber perspective than an bond to the theatrical role .

Carla’s Mom

While it was a core root of an sequence , the passing play of Carla ’s mother was n’t exactly something that   got highlight much in comparison to other death on this list .

She was alive one minute and then the next , in the blink of an eye , Carla informed the work party that she had passed out , and we saw them return from her funeral . Carla was clearly always pretty close with her mom , and when you combine that with the strain thather relationship with Turkwas under , it became quite complicated . finally , though , it brought them closer together .

JD’s Dad

JD was never particularly tight with his father , as we encounter when he visited his son for the weekend , something that made J.D. a bit on edge despite loving his father .

Still , when he institute out that he died , it was an emotional moment that he struggled with throughout the course of instruction of the episode . The best affair to come out of it was   Dr.   Cox stepping up and being there for JD , even going so far as to tell him that he was lofty of him . It was a great way to   honor   the memory of the late John Ritter .

Elaine

Elaine was the kind of character that we all aspire to be . She looked into the boldness of death and laugh softly – because she was n’t frightened .

She was quick for what was to derive , and when she eventually pass on away , the musical identification number that led to the net instant of the instalment was beautiful . JD had formed a friendly relationship with her , and yet when she finally run short , he was able to smile and realize that she was ready for that moment . Because of her confidence , he was more disposed than he thought , too .

Denise’s Son

During her time with   Dr.   Cox as ambulance actor , Denise Lemmon rub Perry the wrong way on more than one function .

She was an incredibly active woman who seemed to be beaming with joyfulness from dawn until dusk , which made the Book of Revelation towards the end of her episode all the more   heartbreaking . As it turned out , her son Davey had pass away in an accident . The realisation on Cox ’s face , as well as the sadness in the eyes of Denise , come out of nowhere and really put fans on the back foot .

Jill Tracey

Scrubsalways did a fantastic problem with go back reference who appear across multiple years only a couple of times , and Jill Tracey is a perfect example of this .

She had ab initio attempted   felo-de-se in the show ’s early season , getting help from Cox and J.D. She subsequently returned to the show , clearly struggle , something her pestering nature made unclear to J.D. She finally died , with J.D. blame himself for not facilitate . It was sad not only for how it involve J.D. and then the ease of the level after that but for how long Jill had struggled .

Dr. Cox’s Patients

The sorrowfulness from Jill ’s decease does not terminate there . Her organs , which she ’d donate for after her decease , were passed on to three different affected role , a present moment that was initially semisweet , later turn just bitter .

The publication was that   Dr.   Cox   was n’t   aware of the fact that she ’d die from rabies , which imply the three individuals in question also give out . It sentDr .   Cox down a dark way of life – one which many did n’t think he ’d come back from .
